Reviews:
“I absolutely LOVE these emotion & solution cards!! These are such a great quality set! Comes in a really nice tin, to keep them in good shape. Cards are on a quality cardstock, geat size and colors a nice. The facial expressions are great leeway to discuss those emotions and solutions on the back of the card. Love the purpose of these cards and how to have these quality discussions with your kids!”
“Many times children cannot express the emotion they feel so I love these cards for that reason! For the child it is easy for them to pick out the face that represents their mood. Therefore, we can talk about how to deal with that emotion. Love these and so does my granddaughter!”
“The color is a great muted tone so it’s not overwhelming. The size is great for hands. It’s the size of my hand. The quality is thick and sturdy, another plus for little hands and they don’t stick together or tear easily. My daughter and I sat down tonight and went over our emotions and feelings and talked about them. She said she was proud of me because I’m a great mother. Seriously. Please buy this game for your littles.”
“Worry’s songs tie my tummy up in knots, and the things he says make my heart beat very fast. Sometimes he speaks in a whisper, and other times his voice gets so loud I can’t hear anything else.”
This book teaches children how to manage worry and anxiety in a concrete, kid-friendly way. It shows Worry as a furry monster who tells the main character what she can’t do and what she isn’t capable of. Throughout the story, the main character develops confidence and finds her voice to talk back to Worry. When she does, she notices Worry gets smaller and smaller. At the end of the story, it normalizes that Worry never goes away for good but that next time she will be prepared!

Reviews:
“I bought the toolkit after hearing Allison speak at an event. I opened the cards and began using them with my child. We hung the poster near her bedside and many afternoons after school, I find her sitting on the floor with her feeling cards laid out in front of her. She tells me she is figuring out how she feels about her day. Then she uses the poster to help rate how big her feeling was. A total game-changer for our family as now she is able to articulate what was going on inside of her. Get one!”
“I have been using the cards and poster in my counseling office for the past year. They are the two most useful tools I have. I rarely go through a session where a kid is not using the cards to share their emotions or writing on the poster to show me how to reset their brain. I love the brain-based concept and recommend this toolkit to every counselor who works with kids.”
“I saw the poster and cards in my child’s preschool class and knew I had to get some. When they arrived, my daughter told me she already knew how to use them and asked me to choose my feeling card and circle it on the poster. It was amazing to see how much she has learned about feelings in such a short time!”
